“Courtyard Fountain”
12x12 Oil on Linen $900
Artist Statement:
This lovely fountain is from the Cesar Chavez National Monument. I fell in love with the whole place, but I knew when I walked on the property and saw the fountain that I wanted to paint it. The light across the trees and bushes along with the cast shadows made a great composition to support the focal point of the fountain.

“Brite Valley Barn”
12x18 Oil on Linen $1400
Artist Statement:
I have always loved painting barns, and this one caught my attention several times as we drove around Tehachapi and the surrounding country roads. It was a fun painting to do as it is mostly done with a palette knife. I had also seen this barn in early spring when there was snow on the mountains and the hills and the field were very green However, I chose to paint in the way was in May in the warmer colors.

“California Vineyard”
21x30 Oil $3800
Artist Statement:
One of my favorite scenes to paint are vineyards and red barns. Fortunately for me this scene had both along with some beautiful eucalyptus trees and an amazing sky. This was painted in the Fall when the vines turn color and really put on a lovely show.
