“Desert Dawn” (Landscape)
24x18 Pastel $2100
Artist Statement:
When I was a child, we could see the Milky Way at night, but due to light pollution, it is no longer visible unless you travel to a place where it is very dark. Many desert locations are relatively free of light pollution, so this beautiful array of stars may be seen in places such as Joshua Tree and the Mojave Desert.
